Elder Tage Rex: Germany Frankfurt Mission

  Yeah that was the hardest part" Diese woche ist ziemlich gut gewesen! Wir haben diese Woche einen neuen Freund kennengelernt, der Alarab heißt, oder so denken wir sowieso. Er ist aus Syrien, und kann gar kein Deutsch sprechen, trotz die fünf Monate in der er hier gewohnt hat. Er kann aber ein sehr kleines Teil Englisch sprechen, doch wenn wir ihn auf Englisch ansprechen versteht er nichts. Google Übersetzer (in Arabisch)und Handbewegungen sind für fast alle Kommunikation benutzt. Wir denken er ist muslim, aber er glaubt an Jesus, freut sich in der Kirche zu sein, glaubt an die Bibel, die qua'ran, Mohammed, und hat keine problemen mit dem Buch Mormon und heutzutage Propheten. Wir müssen offentsichlich mehr mit ihm reden haha. I slacked off last week and didn't write an Email, but last week was good too don't worry.  We've been trying to find new friends, which has actually been good! We have found a lot of people that were dropped a long time ago and were willing to meet with us, which is unusual. Most people who were dropped hardly ever respond, at least that's how it was in my last area. It's good to finally have a flow of lessons coming in! We met with a referral on Friday named Christian (we have 4 different friends named Christian), and he is like 6'6", just towering over us. He was super cool though and is excited to learn more about the Restored Church of Jesus Christ. Good thing too, because we rode on an hour long bus to get to him.  On Saturday we were super excited, because we had a service project, a triple lesson planned with a member present, game night, and then another lesson just after.   Or am I part of the disease? This has been a crazy week. I feel like I say that every other week, but this one changes a LOT.  On Saturday we did the cool service project on the house again, and this time we carried like 40ft long 2x4s up to the top of the house. Theres also a steep set of stairs, probably about 4 flights all the way up until you get to the house, so that was actually kind of fun just to figure out how to maneuver the boards and get them up. We also got American pizza afterwards so it was all worth it! We also had a little sport night and played pickleball, which is always a gas, as they said in the 1930s.  Oh also, on Saturday they did a new thing where the Zone Leaders now call you to let you know if you will be transferred on the Saturday before transfer week, so that you can say goodbye to people.
