October 10, 2024: Oh Lord, come shine your light on me

What a week! Lots of new stuff going on, but it's been great so far. We've been busy planning a lot of things as well as teaching some amazing people who have been prepared to accept our message. We expecting a few baptisms in the next transfer or two.

Highlights:
- we had Mission Leadership Conference (MLC)! Basically all of the Zone Leaders, Sister Training Leaders, the Assistants, and our Mission President got together and talked about what we are implementing and changing about the mission going into the next transfer, as well as reviewing how last transfer went. I definitely learned a lot and it was super fun to see some of my buddies who are leading other Zones.
- General Conference! My 3rd one on the mission. I haven't listened to all of it yet but I loved hearing the words of our prophet and there was a big focus on how we are never out of reach from God's love and forgiveness. It was beautiful.
- Zone Conference! We led a bit of training as the Zone Leaders and then we all received some awesome council from our Mission President and his wife.
- Cindy! Cindy was found a few days before I got here and she is a German who has been looking for truth as well as the right church to help her children get baptized. She brought her daughter as well to meet with us and it was a super spirit filled lesson!
- Nibal! She was also found a couple weeks ago, and is super golden. Since she immigrated to Germany she has been very lonely and felt abandoned and outcast. "The missionaries came to her like angels" and gave her a book of mormon. She bore testimony about the love and peace and incredible perspective of God that the Book of Mormon has brought her, as well as a knowledge of a redeemer that she had never known before. The light of Jesus Christ has filled her life since we met and she has already read 650/750 pages of the Arabic BoM. Oh, and if you remember the guy Harry who we baptized last transfer in Trier, he speaks Arabic! We join him in through video

call and he translates as well as teaches with us twice a week. The Lord knows what he is doing!
- there's a few other incredible people we are teaching but I'm sure they'll come up in later emails.

We are going to the temple today with the Zone! It's been a while so I'm excited to go again.

Hope you all have a great week!
