March 27, 2025: Time is running out
This week has been crazy!
So we started working in our new area of Wiesbaden. The city is awesome, huge compared to almost anywhere else I've served, so we've been able to do a lot of exploring.
On Friday we reached out to all the leaders in our congregation and asked if we could meet them and share a spiritual thought, and some people responded and we got an appointment that same night with a family from Chile! They were awesome. We also were able to find a lot and explore a lot of the new city. We found a sick guy named Wassim! He's from Tunisia and is super interested. We were able to give him a church tour and he came to church on sunday. He came to a board game activity we held on tuesday as well. He said he's been in Germany for 9 months and never felt welcome anywhere until he came to church, and that there's something telling him he needs to learn more about what we know. He's also just a super fun guy!
On Saturday we texted and called probably 200 people who were previously taught in the area and then went outside to find more people for the remainder of the time. We spend about 7.5 hours every day doing proselyting work, and when it isn't teaching (which we don't have much of yet) it's usually finding, so we are doing a lot of different finding activities every day. The other time is used for meals, studies, preparing for the day or winding down in the evening.
Sunday was awesome! We got to meet the Ward and we had a meal appointment with the most hilarious Omas I've ever met. They were just cracking jokes the whole time. Some people think Germans aren't funny, this was definitely an exception.
On Monday we did a lot of finding again! That was nice. We tried a restaurant that basically looked like a Taco Bell Chipotle mix but in Germany and it had good reviews so we tried it. It was tasty. But about as expensive as 5 guys, so we will probably just go with 5 guys next time we feel like dropping some cash.
Zone Conference was on Tuesday! It's weird just sitting back and taking stuff in a zone conference. We ate pulled pork for lunch though so that took me back! We also had our little game night thing that Wassim came to.
We had an awesome member appointment on Wednesday with the stake president's son. We did some service and carried a bunch of wood and tile in and out of a basement. They fed us tacos too
!

For pday today we did a zone scavenger hunt... except my friend Harry showed up! Harry is a guy from one of my past cities who we were able to baptize. He is one of the greatest people I know and is someone who exemplifies the word Christian so well. He decided to just join us for the whole pday and it was such an awesome reunion!
That's the week!
Spiritual thought:
3rd Nephi 9:14
"Yea, verily I say unto you, if ye will come unto me ye shall have eternal life. Behold, mine arm of mercy is extended towards you, and whosoever will come, him will I receive; and blessed are those who come unto me."
Christ's arm of mercy is extended to whoever will come to him. No one can be out of his reach!
Tschüß!
