Elder Tage Rex: Germany Frankfurt Mission

  I, know This week was crazy but I've got no time! Sorry if this is scatterbrained or something! Saturday was insane, we had an incredible lesson where one of our friends had an amazing experience with the Book of Mormon, where she was comforted during her trials. She is hopefully going to get baptized soon or at least on date  . We went to Schwester Klucken for some great pizza with tuna and olives and stuff, which wasn't as bad as it sounds, but I burned my tongue like crazy on the second bite, and couldn't taste anything afterwards. I can still feel the burn. Anyways we went home, had another lesson, and then got a call. We missed it, but called back and it is the most Golden person I've ever heard of or seen! She's been looking for truth for 40 years, and looked on the Finde Christus website, and felt that she was in the right place.   Challenge me, if you dare. This week was great! I saw a lot of little miracles, so it was nice to know God is looking out for me :)  We had interviews on Thursday! We had to head out pretty early to make our way to the city of Düsseldorf, where our stake center is located. We got to play with logos and eat candy while we waited, and it was nice to forget how old we are for a few minutes. My interview went really well actually, last time it was very short but this time my mission president, President Cropper actually helped me with a lot of what I've been struggling with. To be fair I didn't really know anything for my last interview. Our president calls the food döner (sounds closer to doo-ner) "doner"(doe-ner), but nobody's told him how to say it right for the past 3 transfers, and its pretty funny.   More like "under new management"  My movie quotes are probably going to get less and less accurate as the weeks go by, so if you don't recognize it that's okay. This week is hard to remember, and I'm a few days behind on my journaling but hopefully I'll remember what's important. We had a lot of lessons fall out on us again, our goal this week was 8 and we had like 9 or 10 planned but we only had 4 in the end. We had a great lesson with our friends Eicke and Sophie though! We read a chapter in the Book of Mormon, and talked about baptism. They said they need more time, and we expected that, but they are seriously thinking about it now. It might take months or even more than a year, but they're truly walking the right path and it's so cool to see. I think they're more dedicated now because they're finally reading on their own too! They've never done that before now, and Eicke texts us every day to update us on it, even though we never ...

  I chose something far more humble: Megamind, Incredibly handsome criminal Genius and Master of all villainy. Luckily, this week was a step up from last week.  After P-Day last week, we met with a Jehova's Witness man, and a great battle of belief took place, even unto the shedding of blood. Just kidding, nothing really happened. He did talk to himself a lot though. We had a lesson on Friday with a muslim lady, but as we started to close, it suddenly started POURING rain on us. In 5 seconds it went from no water to flash flood, and you could literally watch the downpour as it closed in on us. We rode our bikes from downtown to the church, and got absolutely soaked from head to toe. Unfortunately our other lessons fell through, but that gave us a little time to dry off at the church.
